Civic Activism for Economic & Social Justice In Ghana – 2019

Objectives

Increase capacity of citizen groups (women, young people, etc.,) to engage and understand the planning, budget formulation, fee fixing processes and the annual financial account statement of STMA.

Results

• 30 citizens groups equipped with knowledge and skills on Local Government Planning & Budget cycles and financial information to influence decisions on planning and budget at the sub-national level.
• Six Accountability boards mounted within STMA which captured status of projects and budgets and STMA’s financial statement.
