POSITION: Project Support Staff
Job Description The Project Support Staffs will be located in the following five (5) specific locations of the ReDial Project to bring more traction to the farmers:   · Yendi Municipal of the Northern Region, · Techiman Municipality of the Bono East Region, · Sefwi Wiawso District of the Western North Region, · Ejura-Sekyeredumase Municipal of the Ashanti Region, · Kwahu Afram Plains North District of the Eastern Region   These post holders will support field engagements, communication and coordination of project activities at the local levels, including stakeholder engagement, community mobilization, community group formation, strengthening and facilitation of community engagement such as meetings, durbars etc.
Role and Responsibility · Will be stationed in the districts and will also be closer to the farmers and provide them with extension services including regular information on Climate Smart Agricultural practices, Soil nutrient enhancement information, etc. · Will also be responsible for local level information sharing on community radios and will facilitate farmer to farmer communications. · Will be responsible to bridging the distance and gap between  farmers to ensure that more farmers are engaged at their localities. · Will assist the Project Zonal Coordinator to mobilize farmers and other beneficiaries to participate actively in the ReDial Project. · Will collate feedback from farmers back to the project and support evaluation and real time response to the needs of the farmers and beneficiaries.
Qualification and Required Work Experience · Graduate of a tertiary institution with a Technical Agriculture background · Experience and ability to mobilize farmers and other project beneficiaries to participate actively in local activities. · Sound organisational skills, the capacity to undertake and complete several tasks concurrently, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines · Should be able to speak the major local language of the location. · Experience and ability in field engagements, communication (oral and written), education  and local level information sharing on community radios etc. · Experience and ability to collate feedback from farmers and support evaluation and real time response to the needs of the farmers and beneficiaries. · Should have good inter personnel relation skills. · Should have good skills in dissemination of IE&C and education materials. · Experience and ability to Prepare accurate reports and documentation to Supervisors · Any additional competences, skills and knowledge that you consider relevant to this application
